Packing Rod
Backing Rod is a backer filler product for joints, used in insulation and construction works. It is made of closed‑cell polyethylene foam, known for its flexibility and ease of installation.

- Type: Flexible polyethylene foam rod
- Function: Backer filler for joints before applying sealants (Silicone – Polyurethane – Acrylic…)
- Available Diameter: From 6 mm up to 40 mm
- Length: Usually sold by the meter or in coils upon request
- Composition: Closed‑cell foam – non‑absorbent – non‑toxic

🛠️ Application Method
- Clean the joint from dust and oils
- Select the appropriate diameter according to joint width
- Insert the backing rod into the joint using a blunt tool
- Press gently to ensure fixation without tearing
- Apply the sealant directly over it (Silicone, PU, Acrylic…)
