Cetox U
Cetox U is a high-quality adhesive powder produced by CMB, used for fixing ceramic tiles and floor tiles on various surfaces. It is considered an economical and effective solution for both interior and exterior finishing works.
🧱 Technical Description – Cetox U
- Type: Cement-based adhesive powder
- Color: Grey or White
- Composition: Chemically treated cement + synthetic polymers + special fillers
- Packaging: 25 kg or 50 kg bag
- Application: Interior and exterior – fixing ceramic tiles, floor tiles, foam, and glass wool
- Shelf Life: 12 months in a sealed package stored in a dry place
🛠️ Application Method
- Surface Preparation:
- Clean the surface from dust, oils, and moisture
- Ensure the surface is level and free from loose materials
- Mix Preparation:
- Mix Cetox U with water at a ratio of approx. 6–7 liters of water per 25 kg of powder
- Stir well until a homogeneous paste is formed
- Leave the mixture for 5 minutes, then stir again before use
- Application:
- Spread the adhesive using a notched trowel on the surface
- Place the tiles or ceramics and press firmly to ensure adhesion
- Leave suitable expansion joints between tiles
- Drying and Curing:
- Allow to dry for 24 hours before walking or grouting
- Do not expose to water or loads during curing period
